2018 Tagging Analysis

My permit was up on the 18th of December and my final report is complete, It was a great 3 years of research and I look forward to another 3 years starting in 2019. The final outcome is not what I was expecting, nor what I wished for. On the upside, the shark returns were more than I hoped for. I also made some great contacts along the way. I have developed an interest in the oyster industry here in Alabama. I had first wondered if stingrays factor into their

industry, but after several conversations with Shellback Oyster Farms, I learned that stingrays aren't the issue. It's the Oyster Drill.....hhuummmm......new research topic? Could be!
